Employment - User Interface Specialist / Graphics Designer
Primary responsibilities (within the software development team):- Designing visual layouts and graphics art for the user interface (UI)
- Developing application module UI mockups and storyboards
- Working with developers to integrate UI templates with the application
- Maintaining and inspecting HTML source to assure quality and consistency
- Validating implemented UI to confirm they appear and behave as designed and documented
- Designing and updating corporate web site
- Designing and formatting marketing materials and white-papers
- Building interactive presentations
- Experience in working with web applications development teams
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS at the level of source editing
- Fluency in using HTML design tools (e.g. DreamWeaver)
- Image editing and drawing tools (e.g. PhotoShop, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with presentation design tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Flash, Director)
- Understanding of XML and DOM is an asset
